Hidden -Silent Hill Frerard-

"i have no clue... but thank god it's gone." he whispered. he eventually found the chord pull for the light but it did little, the room was gloomy and poorly lit. the floor was scattered with broken pipes and debris. gerard picked up a large pipe before signalling to leave the room.

Frank grabbed what appeared to be a butchers knife from the wall before following. He stopped Gerard.
"Let me go first, it's my fault we're here" he whispered, taking over and creeping up the stairs.

they opened the door that lead out of the cellar to find what looked like an old living room.
"i thought this was a tourist information centre?" gerard grabbed franks hand again. he was nervous. he could hear mindless static chatter from a radio, only he couldnt see a radio anywhere. it sounded like it was coming from another room, but it was definately getting louder.
"frank, theres somebody in here..."

Frank took a deep breath, gripping his knife.
"Stay close and stay in the light" he whispered, walking towards the door. Suddenly, the siren blared out again and he felt himself getting weak. He gripped the door handle as he collapsed to his knees, before fainting completely.

He awoke with Gerard above him, in the same living room but now no longer red.
"Fuck, I- What happened?"

gerard had huddled them in the corner of the room. he hated to admit that he was scared. but he was. he was fucking terrified.
he attempted to say something but couldnt, so instead he just grabbed franks hand and hauled them both up.
"come on frankie..uh-i.. i mean frank. we need to get out of this town."
the radio crackled louder. gerard opened the door with shaking hands. a woman dressed in cold grey stood in the room, back facing them.
"hello?"

Frank was still reco vering from his fall, but walked over to the woman and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Excuse me, ma'am?"

the woman didnt move. gerard and frank moved round so they could see her face. her eyes were pale and blank and her skin was cracked.
"hello?" the woman still didnt flinch.
"frank, i think she's dead.." gerard mumbled. the womans hand shot up, her long tendril like finger pointing at frank.
"the devil's son shall be brought home, to the depths of hell on earth. only then will we rise to power." gerard blinked at frank.
"the devils son shall be brought home." the woman repeated.

Gerard stared at the woman, unnerved by the words and the pointing.
"I don't understand" he whispered, then louder
"I don't understand! Who' the devil's son?!"

she smiled, showing the few teeth she owned.
"we've been waiting for you." she hissed, approaching frank and backing him into a corner.
"we've been waiting many a year my dea...." the woman spluttered blood on frank as the iron pipe connected with her skull, making a blood curdling cracking noise. she slumped on the floor. frank looked up at gerard, who was shaking with the pipe still above his head.
"you okay frank?"

Frank stared at tyhe woman, shaking.
"I don't understand, how am I meant to the 'devils' child, I was raised catholic for fucks sake!"

gerards eyes shyed away. frank looked so upset. he just wanted to hug him and tell him it would be okay but he knew that was weird. so instead he toyed with his jacket sleeves.
they quickly located the exit and made their way back onto the silent streets.
"it looks so... abandoned... i dont understand. hey frank," frank looked up at him.
"dont listen to that lady. she was fucking crazy.. you're not the devil or whatever..." he smiled down at the other boy.

Frank smiled "I guess I just, I jkeep waking up thinking about this place" he admitted "All I can remember is the name and it's got something to do with my dad"

gerard thought hard. this place couldnt be real. no reality is this weird. but frank seemed to think it was real.
"maybe your dads here?" gerard guessed.
"but why would i be here if it was you who needed to come or whatever. i've never dreamt of this place before..."

"You followed me" said Frank, giving a sorry smile "You followed me and my nightmarish visions. Sorry about that" he laughed, staring up at the sky "Why is the snow black?"

gerard stifled laughter.
"it's ash dumb ass... still, why is there ash falling from the sky?" gerard squinted up at the sky. there was no trace of sunlight. just a light gray wash over them.

Frank opuleld his tongue at Gerard before looking up "I don't know, it all turned red before... maybe it's like, alternating realities or some shit" he said, then stared at the floor "Sorry, bit of a comic book geek"

gerard couldnt stop himself from squealing. frank was literally perfect.
"NO SHIT? favourite author? character? if you could have any super power in the world what would it be? oh my god why are you so cool?"

Frank grinned, noone had ever had that reaction to his comics obsession before. he waved away gerards questions "Later, when we gte oit of here" he said quickly "Anyway, my theory. This world, lets call it fog world because...foggy, is closest to our world, our 'reality' if you like. The other world, that's the weird one from before...well, I dont have an explanation for that one"

gerard scoffed to himself.. fog world. it sounded like a smoke machine factory. but he wasnt going to argue over it.
"so how do you suppose we get out of 'fog world'? i think the best bet is try and walk straight through the town as fast as we can."
as they began to walk further into the town of silent hill, gerard could have sworn he heared a high pitched growl off to the left somewhere. he tightened his grip on the pipe and walked closer to frank. if he ignored it, it would go away.

dfrank suddenly pulled him into the shadows of an alley, pinning them both to the wall as several robed people walked past.

gerard tried to be scared but all he could think was 'hey, you're being pinned against a wall by some hot guy you only just met.'
shit.shit.shit. think gross thoughts. shit.shit.shit. you're probably about to get murdered now is NOU the time for this. gerards breath quickened. nonononono this wasnt happening this was so creepy and frank would never talk to him again.

Once they'd passed frank turned his head to look at Gerard and blushed at how close they were.
"You know, it's kinda cold here" he said queitly, making no move to let Gerard go.

gerard blushed clear crimson. was.. was frank coming on to him? he had no idea what to do, he had neve been in a situation like this before. oh god what the fuck was he supposed to do? he opted for mumbling a yeah and looking down. he could feel frank slowly moving away from him. shit. no, he must have sent out the wrong signal. fuck it he thought as he grabbed franks face and pressed their lips together desperately.

Frank returned the kiss hurriedly, tangling his hands in Gerards long black hair. He moaned, pressing lsoe to him and pinning him to the wall. He didn't notice the fact that the robed figures were coming closer and closer...

gerard groaned into franks mouth, grinding his hips against franks leg. it wasnt until he opened his eyes that he saw them.
"F-FUCK. FRANK." he pointed towards the seemingly faceless figures. he lookked on the floor for his trusty pipe, sliding his back down the wall to pick it up.
"stay back!" he snarled, trying to keep his voice from breaking. the figures came closer and he got a clear view of the creatures.
"RUN FRANK." he dragged frank through the tight ginnel in order to get away from the faceless beasts. they came to a large chain link fence and attempted to climb it. suddenly a snarl came from just in front of them, followed by a vicious bark. they stumbled back when they saw the dog like creature.
"i..its mouth opens upwards.." gerard squeaked, in a terrified state of awe.
